Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

A Few Changes to Notice

In a continued effort to deal with members still submitting works to the wrong folder, we are forced to make a few changes that we hope will help the right works find the correct folder. After I finish this post, I will be creating a gallery folder labeled "Submit Your Art Here". This will be the ONLY folder the members will be able to submit to. We will close off all the other folders from accepting submissions. From this new folder, The contributors and I will approve or deny the work based on quality, and if they meet the guidelines of the group. We can then move the work to the correct folder for you.

This will an attempt to create a better system that works to eliminate the constant disregard for the group submission rules.

P.S. - We can only accept work that has been submitted by a member of the group. We don't approve works suggested by members from people who aren't a part of the group. I hope this clears things up and helps us all out.

I thank you for your cooperation.

NOTE: We will be creating a folder for out PHOTOGRAPHY contest..as promised. The rules and prizes of the last two contests apply to this one as well. The THEME will be NATURE. (landscapes, waterscapes, mountains, sunsets etc...)

Please note that we will not accept any contest submissions that have : people in the shot, buildings or any human elements. It must be pure nature.
