2013 - The Year of the SnakeDo you have any new years resolutions? Me personally, I'm not a fan of making new years resolutions because if you're really serious about anything you'll make an immediate step towards the change way before Jan 1. That being said, sometimes it's still appropriate to look back and reflect and decide on New Years Day what you want and need to change.
2012 was an alright year - the job market in my town is ridiculously tough for my degree. After a lot of thought last night and today, I decided I *have* to leave my current job this year. Of course, I'm not a fool. I won't take the first ridiculously lower paying job or even one that is mildly in my field but paying scraps or just flat out quit and just hope that things will 'work out'... But I can no longer just mildly look for open positions then hope to hear back. I have to be more aggressive about it - period. I have a pretty decent job with a very lucrative set up right now that most people would strongly covet. It's very hard to tell
